I have an intermittent very sensitive very painful patches of skin about the size of my palm. I can go for weeks without it happening , but it comes without warning, and the only product I can find to help is Voltarol. There is only one patch at at a time, thank goodness. But what is it?.

I am sorry but there are no professional medics on here only fellow sufferers. No one here can possibly diagnose you so you need to see your own doctor. I hope you find some answers. x

I would see GP.

New one on me but your GP is the best one to ask.

Only a doctor can diagnose and prescribe. It could be anything from eczema, psoriasis, shingles or a dozen more causes. We cannot speculate based on 3 sentences, no medical degree and no physical exam. Please, see your doctor. Blessings
