hi my friends i went to my doctors on monday about the pain in my hip i thought it might be a fracture as i have osteoarthritus i was sent for an ex ray turns out its bursitus its very painfull i also went to the eye hospital as my right eye is very sore and watering turns out its posterior blepharitis i have got medicacitaed cream and a mousturiser drops oits now gone to my other eye all this just on christmas .

hi katie it will have to wait till monday as my surgery is closed it was closed yersterday as well take care .

Hope you get it sorted on Monday, have to pick up a prescription myself on Monday, guess some surgeries had to close due to bad weather like the schools. You could try the advice line for NHS but they can't give you pain releif prescription only suggestions. The only other way is emergency services like A&E, walkins or emergency home visit from GP practice.(not sure your GP would appreciate an emergency call out if it is not serious ) Good Luck on Monday.

I would see GP if this were me. Do you use any ibuprofen gel for the arthritis pain. Would you be happy if GP just sent you for an up to date xray? A good GP could tell a lot from his examination. You could explain you don't like going to the hospital. Best to get it checked out though and take it from there. Did anything happen 2 - 3 days ago. A slight trip or jolt that didn't seem much at the time. Do you sleep on your back or left side.

hi mary i will phone the surgery in the morning i dont take ibuprofin or paracetamol if i take 2 tablets i get heart palpatations the doctor will send me for an ex ray i am in my electric whelchair all day so i didnt trip fall or hit myself will find out more tomorrow thank you for caring xx
