Hello Jewiemax15

The use of CBD oil has been covered many times on this and other forums but always happy to share with you.

It is legal in the UK as it has virtually no thc...that is the 'harmful' part of the cannabis plant. Well not so much harmful as it is that bit which relaxes the muscles thus lessening pain.

We do have CBD receptors in our bodies so there should be no adverse effects.

There are many suppliers of CBD oils and it isn't cheap. Those that do supply a cheaper version tend to dilute the mixture.

Advice is to go to a reputable supplier...many in the Netherands and keep an open mid.

Alternative come and live here in the Canary Islands where canabis is widely available...with a few restrictions!

Thanks. I have read about CBD & THC etc. It's hard picking which to order. I like the look if Entourage from lovecbd but it's quite strong so might get a milder one to try initially

How do you mean strong?

More CBD chemicals, terpenes from all parts of different types of cannabis plants, therefore get the "Entourage" effect. Supposed to be beneficial

I personally swear by it. Only thing that stops my seizures, has reduced my inflammation to virtually none, and is the only thing that has any (although not huge) effect on my pain levels. Hope this helps x

Good for pain costs from about 80.00 to 120.00 unless you know someone that grows. It also helps with spasticity

Hi, i have started taking CBD Capsules about 10 days ago as i suffer of Arthritis and on waiting list for hip replacement. It has literally helped me from day one of takiing the capsule. I feel more energetic have less joint pain and feel more flexiable as well mobile. Obviously i still have hip pain but i have to admit that pain is less sharp as well. I am taking 50 mg caps high concentration and they cost me 12 £ for 30, from a UK supplier. Can only recommend as i will continue taking them as lng as i can

I think you can name the supplier as long as it's CBD without the THC? If so, it might help a number of people if you mention the name of the product?

Good morning, i regularly use cbd oil, you will want to start with a lower dose one, i started using it when my company started stocking it - as then i knew it was pure and lab tested! Look on our website 'Grape Tree' we stock oils, vape liquid, capsules and a balm. It has a store locator on the website or you can order it online. I started with the 250mg one which is very reasonable at £23.00, take half a pippette under the tongue, keep it there for as long as you can the swish round the mouth and swallow, i have CRPS and i find it really does help relax my muscles and calm the pain, the thc is only required for relief of migraine pain, but it is also the chemaical that can cause psycological issues too, so CBD is a much better and safer option. Hope this helps feel free to contacted me if you need further info.

Have a good day!

Amy.

Hi Jewiemax15 I have tried the CBD oils and it did help me in the beginning. Then unfortunately it stopped helping me. I believe it works for some people and not others. I will definitely keep my fingers crossed 🤞 for you that it will help you to get out of pain sweetie. Take good care of yourself and good luck 😉. 🤗🤗🤗🌹🌹🌹xxx

Hi. I used CBD oil capsules for pain. I tried them for 2 months, sadly they didn't work for me but I read hundreds of reviews on site where they do work for a lot of people.

So I wish you good luck and hope they work for you.

I've posted about this before, so forgive me if you find my answer repetitive. I swear by the CBD topicals. I take the oil sublingually at times, but I have a tin of the cbd pain salve in my purse and by my bed. It's not cheap, but it is less expensive than the oral CBD. You rub a dab onto the painful area and the pain subsides within a few minutes. It does cure the problem, but gives you relief. I use it on my right thumb and wrist, neck, lower and mid-back and sometimes on my knees and legs. It's worth a try.

I wonder how long are the effects of it lessening pain per dose? Is it one dose lasting all day? I couldn't afford it for sure, if it's 80 to 120 dollars and don't know if that's per month or per week or ?????.

You can buy a small tin of the salve (maybe 1/2 ounce) for as low as $15. Some companies make more profit than others. I've tried several brands and have tried to find out if there must be a minimum amount of cbd in the salve to work. No one can tell me. I've used as little as 44grams per ounce to 1000 grams per ounce. Of course the price increases with the amount of cbd. What I have found is that it all works, whatever the dosage. Does the higher amount work better or longer? I don't know. But, I do know that it lasts for several hours, You don't use very much...dab your finger into it and apply to the area. The product spreads with body heat and sinks in. I don't know why it works but it does.

I can tell you which brands I've used and like, but these are U.S. companies and might charge more postage if you are abroad. Some of these companies offer free shipping.

You should try a small amount before you decide it is too expensive. If it makes your pain disappear for a few hours...which is what nsaids do...it's worth the amount of money. It has no negative side effects, like drugs do. I can't take nsaids and I would be really in misery without cbd topical.

I can't say that the oil (sublingual) really helps. It seems to give me more energy, but I don't notice that it helps with pain, at least not like the salve does.

Hope you feel better.

I have spinal injuries and nerve damage and tried CBD for about 6 weeks straight via vaping and it did zero for me. Tried several brands and vaped maybe half a bottle per day and it did not compare at all to my Fentanyl, Lyrica etc. Costs a fortune though but seems to work for some.
