Extreme pain left side just below my ribs

I am desperate for advice. My left side has been hurting for over a week . And it starts in the front and wrap around to the back. It's hurts just below my rib cage. It hurts really bad when I move and hurts when I am laying still.

Muscle strain. I'm very frustrated. But I've finally resigned to accept it.

For anyone following this post I finally found out what was wrong with me. I have costochondritis. Fortunately it is a temporary condition. But it certainly taking its time to go away. On Friday it'll be 2 weeks and the pain is just horrible.

My left side pain is 90% gone. I am so relieved I don't know that I've ever felt that kind of pain even with childbirth. But you will not believe what happened to me. As I walked into my pain management doctors office I pulled a muscle in my thigh. Well it's either that or the pain is radiating down my thigh from my lower back pain. I've got an injection scheduled to try to release that problem too. Thank you so much for asking that means a lot to me.
