Hi survivor.welcome to the forum. I am sure you will get help and support here.
Firstly, do you live in the UK? It will make a difference to replies as systems and sevices differ ?
If you are in UK then you should be asking your GP for referral to a Pain Management clinic. They are the experts on pain and how to manage it better. Services differ from health board to health board but all will advise on medications and most provide pain management courses.
Have you joined the Fibromyalgia forum ? It's a very busy one with lots of members who post and reply a lot.
Looking forward to speaking to you in the future
