I got washed and dressed I felt cool but was amusing myself on the laptop thinking I'll warm up, but silly me could feel myself getting cooler and ignored it. Then the pain hit me, I can'nt describe it , it was in my left side of the back, I can not tell you if it's bone other than when this happens it's very painfull and distressing. The tempture in the house says 25 degrees! I tried sitting last night like a normal person on the settee watching tv with my partner heating on, sheepskin rug over my knee and managed to get I believe was a draught with the living roomdoor being opened so more pain so I was still in bed by 8pm. Feeling depressed. Ive put on another jumper and turned heating up to 30 degrees, and taken co-codamol 30/500 and the pain in my back is easing, legs and feet feeling cold. I've had Raynards from I was 18yrs old I as did my mum it was always something I got on with but I've felt so much worse this last year. I've been blaming the coldness and pain on the Arthritis is there anyone can tell me what this is? When it's at it's worse I can do nothing but retreat to bed the heat seems to help ease the pain.

Omg this was me yesterday. When the cold hit me yesterday, the pain in my back and neck was so server I couldn't catch my breath.

I told my co-codamol 30/500 and was in bed by 6.30pm last night. It took me all night for the pain to subside. My feet were freezing and my hands, my legs were aching and my back was just so painful. At one point I was rocking and actually murmuring to myself.

I also have Raynaud's disease and DDD but have been cleared of RA but I also have CFS.

Hope you feel better today, I am practically bed ridden today but the pain is more like a bad tooth ache and just about bearable x

Truly sad-76, do you have electric blanket for your bed? Do you use heating pad on your back ? Wear warm up's as pj's and heavy socks to bed. For your legs, rub on otc pain relief cream , rub on feet too. Drink hot coco. Take a really warm bath or shower before bed, while in shower/bath, turn on electric blanket so your bed will be warm when you get in it. Buy "hand warmers" or wear wool gloves. Try to stay warm during day also. 😘

Hi Truelysad-76 I glad someone understands what it's like but sorry that you have to go through such a awlful experiance especially if 76 is the year you were born, I'm 58 an age when thng go wrong so I keep telling myself. I also have Sporatic arthritis and am on Levothyroxine for thyroid so it's hard to know whats acting up. Hope you have had a better day today. x
