First of all don't focus on the big words, focus on the word 'mild'. Most people with this who never get an x-ray won't even know they have it, and millions of people do have it.

All it is is a slightly curvature of the spine which most people that have it won't be aware of it. They might be aware of one arm being lower than the other, or one shoulder slightly higher than the other, but that is all. There is great 'normal' variation in humans.

And it might not be that you didn't have it in the last x-ray, they might just not have remarked about it.

I don't know why you had the x-ray, but look at everything else. Your heart is fine, your lungs are clear, the rest of the surrounding areas are fine. Most people live with some degree of curve without any problems. Some people with very pronounced curves live without any problems. For a mild curve unless there are other symptoms, it is usually just ignore it, watch and wait.

So try not to worry about it and focus on the really good results you have!

Just submit it, it is a description of your neck, it isn't a diagnosis.

At the moment you are pain free. The x-ray has given a warning that you may be developing a future problem or not. You previous x-ray was clear. However, it may be that the x-ray reader may have thought that the problem was too minor to comment on.

It is worth seeing an Alexander teacher to learn something about posture in order to nip any future problems in the bud. The curve may be due to normal variation in humans or it may be that you are beginning to over contract muscles and not lengthening them out again.
