Sciatica

After weeks complaing to diff.drs finally a locum odered a spinal scan.despite 11yrs pilates have dev.terrible pain.on hol at moment in oporto and finding it painful to walk.dr prescribed co codamol but not effective.cant take ibropropin due to heart condition.pain worse at night in bed disturbing my sleep.anyone can suggest better painkillers.any advice would be helpful

I currently have Sciatica and am taking Gaberpentin and Paracetamol. I also take one Naproxen daily but if you cannot take Ibuprofen you may not be able to take that as it is an anti inflammatory. This is working and the pain us decreasing.

Hi I use tramadol for pain and diazepam when it is extreme. I also take naproxen day and night as an alternative to ibruprofen which might be worth asking about as I can't take most nsaids due to my asthma.
