I have occipital neuralgia which creeps into my shoulder, causing burning pain. It's evil. Hope you feel better. My best friends are muscle rub and a heating pad. Best wishes from Massachusetts, USA!

I have a main diet consisting of amatriptalyne with a side of oxycoden. For desert i like to follow up with a couple of aleeve with just a dash of ibuprofen. In between i snack on tynol 3.

in reply to Glemily1

😄😃😂😄😂 I really more than,'kinda' needed that! I like the menu but not enough kitchens around to serve me up!

Hi it would only depress you living here now as it's all a nightmare. The NHS being run down, austerity, terror attacks, Brexit, the election etc. I would live to live abroad away from all of this. Britain is not a good place to be at the moment. You are much better off in Canada.

All those who voted Tory are to blame lol, Labour has a bigger chance to stop them, especially when the NHS is being destroyed. Lol

in reply to Philip

I don't disagree with you on that. People seem to believe it's not true about the NHS being slowly privatised, but they will find out in time and by then it will be too late unfortunately.

Philip profile image
Philip in reply to

Absolutely and then as you say, too late, we can only hope that her very little majority will be stopped by Mr J C, and I hope he will be our saviour type of thing lol.

in reply to Philip

Ha ha me too. I must admit I did chuckle (ok lol) to see they couldn't get their majority. They were so sure they would.

I think Mr JC is brilliant but he hasn't got a hope in hells chance of being elected. Labour have to get a new leader to stand a chance in the future.

I think Mr JC has surprised everyone, I think he is so much more in control, I like watching pm questions lol.

Nighty night and sleep well.

in reply to Philip

You too. xx

Lilac lil sadly she has now got her majority as she joined with the Ulster 'terrorists' party. I dread to think what will happen to us now........☹️🙏🏼

in reply to AMOALL

Ah DUP or not she is still in a weakened position. She can't possibly hold on for the next year let alone until the next election.

AMOALL profile image
AMOALL in reply to

I do hope she is outed sooner rather than later, she actually scares me for the effect on my grandchildren's lives. She would take our Country backwards.

in reply to AMOALL

What do you mean she would? She is already carrying on the Tory idealogical war against the poor and sick. And running down the NHS.

I read that in Europe our growth is a lot slower than many countries eg Germany who instead of implementing austerity cuts have invested in the economy.

To me austerity cuts don't make sense as the less money people have in their pockets the less they can spend on goods and services. And the more people out of work and claiming benefits instead of in work and paying taxes.

The tories have borrowed zillions to prop up the economy which would have been better spent on encouraging growth.

That's my view anyway!

AMOALL profile image
AMOALL in reply to

I totally agree, unfortunately I am genuinely disabled, but I know at least two who boast that there is nothing wrong with them but somehow they convince the PIP panel otherwise. This is one of the greatest drags on finances. I worry that when it is time for my grandchildren to go to Uni. It will only be available to the richest in our society. As for, them buying a home this also is denied to people who have no inheritance to get...... young people are laughed out of the bank unless they have £20.000 for a deposit on a very modest home. And this crazy woman will make it even worse.

Thank you Lilaclil for putting it so much better. x 🌺

in reply to AMOALL

Well they must be very good actors worthy of an oscar and must have falsified medical experts records! The oldest political trick in the world is to set groups against each other - the working poor against the sick, genuine sick against scammers etc. If we all united instead we could get rid of them. Instead they are free to look after their own and milk the cash cow.

If the scammers were found out we wouldn't get any more would we? They would just give themselves and their millionaire friends more raises and tax cuts.

The biggest drag on finances is letting the huge companies like Amazon, Google, Starbucks etc. and the multi millionaires such as Gary Barlow, Jimmy Carr, Wayne Rooney get away with paying virtually no tax. It costs this country around £120 billion a year in lost revenue. There would be no need for austerity cuts then.

Don't worry about the scammers, save your energy for yourself. Karma will get them.

The NHS was always the best thing in England. Other countries strive to be like us. Its so sad to hear of the deteriation. 😓

since when did Jesus Christ get into politics, well rest assured I can assure you politicians are out of work actors,in fact that's an slur on professional actors, yes I can say you're not missing much here in Blighty,I can't even come to say good old blighty, the country is running on fines, central heating on in June, and zero hour contracts, food prices going up and shrinking portions, and a country floating around in a non existent context, well you must be happy at least Newcastle United have been promoted back to the premiership,I hope you celebrated with a few Newcastle brown ale's,and yep I've always had alot of respect for the Geordies,I once had the pleasure of working for Mr. Kevin Keegan, not as a footballer though, always down to earth folk and have got a wicked sense of humour,"I'd really love it" is a statement that went down extremely well with the blue side of Manchester,so yep your general chat is breather from the every day mundane life over here at the moment,so enjoy yourself and here's hoping Newcastle do well in the coming season

in reply to Cb1963

Do you know I never realised that Jeremy Corbyn has the same initials as Jesus! Do you think he could be the second coming? At least he would have no problem feeding the 5,000 would he? No one would go hungry any more and the numerous food banks would go out of business thank goodness.

Oh and Newcastle would win something :)

Glemily1 in reply to Cb1963

Thanks man. I left Newcastle at 16 and although im 47 now and dont use the slang, i still have a Geordie accent and retained the english sick sence of humor lol

in reply to Glemily1

Really? Omg I couldn't live without our British sense of humour. You will have to be a pioneer and introduce some British sarcasm :) xx

Glemily1 in reply to

I try but they just think im being rude lol

in reply to Glemily1

It's not just different countries though. I lived in the East End of London for many years then moved to Devon. East Enders have a great sense of humour though it can be cruel as well.

Devon is very different and I had to tone down my EE ways coz they thought I was being rude too. People are very different here.

and lets not forget turning water into wine, yep quite an impressive CV,I just hope we don't get anyone with the initial's GOD,otherwise we'll all be praying for miracles, yes the British sense of humour is abundant, and with all the PC involved life can be pretty boring at times,a good bit of monty python was always a dig at the establishment, and some of the comedians this country has had many a people in fits of laughter,so always look on the bright side of life, and love life ttfn

Greetings from Glocestershire. A bit different from 20 years ago, about 18 million people have fgot or in and about 14 million have left in the last 20 years (ONS figures), so you may not recognize the place. (I dont!) . Ignore the scares about 'austerity' -as though there is a temporary restriction on government spending, - this is the norm now. People do not mke the wealth they once did, so thers is less wealth to take as taxes and hence the government havent got as much to provide service with. Multicultalsim has ben forced on the British wether they want it or not, Huge amount of anger at this, hence Brexit. Dispite people saying the NHS is worse, I usually reply "Try none" that tends to make them think a bit. Apart from the inccrease in population overall (all factors) , busy roads, busy airports, queues... What Have The Romans (italians) Done For Us?

We have importd about 10,000 to 100,000 people who side with the trrorists and have regular attacks now, the Moslem Mayor of Londen says we should '"just get used to it". As yet there are very few no-go areas, and policing still functions. Politics is manly about satisfying past grudges and attacking the Police in the courts for their past deeds takes place regularly. The last of manufacturing has gone. Banking was replaced by hucksterism.

The countryside is still beautifull, wealthy people move out to the country when they want offspring, and it less looks run-down than it did. Scotland and parts of Wales still OK. Would like to move to Scotland, beofre it becomes a seperate country.
