Chest pain

Been having these short sharp chest pains on my left side for a while now. They are random and can be few times a week to a few times a month. Been told it's probably costochrondritis but not sure any help please?

It's a symptom of fibromyalgia, have a look at fibro on Google. Pains in chest are always worrying.

It Coul,d be any one of a number of things like indigestion, pulled muscles etc. Best to see a doctor if you are worried.

Hi Jallam.Go and get yourself checked out by your GP it's probably nothing to worry about but any chest pain is worth getting checked.I had a heart attack 13 years ago and believe me that pain is constant it doesn't come and go. No worries mate.

Hi,

I know this is a rather old post but thought id comment just in case its not resolved. I had sharp pain under left side of my ribcage for ages. It happened randomly and lasted short periods of time. Doctors couldn't figure it out but then I discovered something called texidors twine (precordial catch syndrome). If you have the same symptoms then perhaps you should look it up. Its harmless but in my case not knowing the cause scared me so finding its name helped. Of course though don't diagnose self without a doctor.
