I am a 65 years young woman, who unfortunately suffers from Fibromyalgia and many things which comes hand in hand with it. Right now I have Coscochondritis. I'm not sure why it started, but I suspect it's from a cough due to asthma.
My question is, can the pain from this extend to the ribs in your back too, my ribs on my left side at the back are so painful?
Thanks in advance for any answers.

Probably so, especially since you have fibromyalgia. But ask your health provider. This must be so painful, every breath must hurt. So sorry!

Thanks for your reply lorna-doone18. I have been to the doctor today and it is Costochondritis as I though, I am now taking Naproxen 500 mgs and hopefully it will settle down soon.
