Don't know what to do !!

I am in constant pain MRI shows my spine is nipping my nerve on my left side but all my pain is on my right side lower back and leg but my doctor just gives me painkillers (Gabapentin) but still in pain what shall I do as the pain is constant

Sounds like sciatica - have you been to a good sports therapist or chiropractic to get it clicked out ?

If you get referred to a pain clinic they should be able to offer you various alternatives. I'm being offered epidural injection for similar condition after months of relentless pain. Because I take part in sports they don't really take me too seriously but I'm crippled most of the time and on opiates for the pain. Not happy about getting the epidural but don't seem to have much choice.

Thanks for your reply have been to pain clinic and I go to physio but as my pain is on the right but my scan shows the problem is on the left they won't give me injections . I work with the elderly which is demanding physically my doctor does not care that I am in constant pain x
