Posterior Ischail Tuberosity

Has any one had any successful treatment for Posterior Ischail Tuberosity? I've had it for 15 years and I'm at my wits end. Pain killers don't work. Doctors don't know what to do. I live near Cambridge.

Hi Rainbow, what you describe is a part of the body not a condition in itself (as far as I know anyway!) do you suffer from hip pain? You'd have to provide more info? 😜

Best wishes

I don't get any hip pain. Only buttock- where the sit bone is.

This condition can be a possible sum of many??

I have had pain in the Ischail Tuberosity and I still it get on occasion. McTimony chiropractor sorts that out for me.

This is an area that the medical profession does not know how to treat. I think and I could be wrong that it is related to muscle behaviour in the spine which via a spinal reflex causes faulty muscle behaviour at the Ischail Tuberosity location hence pain.

Hope this helps

You are right about the medical profession. They just don't know what to do. But I do have a very sympathetic doctor. I've had numerous diagnosises over the years. I have been told my Obtuator Internus muscle is not working like a muscle and that I have short hamstrings due to trauma. I fell on wet floors whist at work. Too late to make a claim, just left in pain.

Short hamstrings can be stretched. Need to find someone who can do this. I have my hamstrings stretched everyday I see my McTimony Chiropractor.

Hope this helps
