Hi im not sure whats going on with your hand but i can guess whats wrong with your feet. Does your heal feel painfull and bruised when you stand on it? If you press both sides of your heal with two fingers does it hurt? If you go up on tip toes can you feel something pulling tight under your foot which also hurts your heal? If so its called planta-faciitis. Its caused through being on your feet all the time. Police and soldiers get it. I have had it in both feet while working in a busy hospital ward and its very painful. The only cure is rest and stretching excercises.

You could try rolling a tennis ball under your foot or stand on the edge of a step and let your heal hang down to create a stretch. I found it better to plunge my feet in cold water first as this will help to bring down the swelling and ease the pain a little before excercise. As for pain meds im not sure anything will work but if your really struggling you need to ask your GP. You must be run off your feet with such a big family to see to and doubt that you have much time to rest. I was also told to keep my foot facing upwards when sitting or laying down and don't allow your foot to drop. Hope this helps. X

I hope it works for you too. The pain is awful and is agony to stand let alone walk. I continued to walk through the pain and caused more damage so dont overdo it. Good luck and let us know how it goes. X

This sounds like poor muscle control. You are going to need to improve your muscle control. Muscle control is often habit which you often do not think about.

I suggest you find an Alexander Teacher who can give you advice and help on how you are using your muscles.

Yoga would be helpful as well.

Hope this helps.

Hi. Could it be Carpal Tunnell? Although if you hold a pen too tight this can cause spasms in the hand you write with.
