Had my injections yesterday and so far not too much pain but very stiff and sore in lower back to be expected really when you think you had a big needle in your back in two places

Had a peek at my mri report as notes left in room summery was lumbosacral transitional vertebra. disc bulging l4/5 bilateral transiting l5 nerve roots. minor invagination of superior plate t11/12chronic osteoporotic fracture has to be considered what ever last bit means never been mentioned to me ha ha

So maybe this is contributing to my pain as it above the lumber area that he says i have the bulging disc. Have of coure looked up on google and it can also relate to osteoporosis which may be a fact as had early hysterectomy and stopped hrt when i was 50 years old. had my injections yesterday and so far not too much pain but very stiff and sore in lower back to be expected really when you think you had a big needle in your back in two places

If osteoporosis is suspected they should arrange a DEXA scan to check your bone density. There is medication to toughen bone. I wouldn't think coming off HRT at 50 was all that significant, many women are in the change then anyway. I suppose you are being followed up ?
