....But preferably NOT by having a freak accident involving chasing a pet rabbit round the garden and ending up taking a layer of skin off your knuckles so that the new pain from the wounds cancels out the old and irritating bit of pain elsewhere.
Now I will have to distract myself from the new pain.
At least the old pain currently seems so insignificant - why was I moaning about it before?
(By the way, the rabbit remains unharmed and is sunbathing, unaware that the hand that feeds it is bandaged).

Sorry about the rabbit incident, but after an incident where a new, unsocialised, in pain rat decided that acupuncture on the hand, delivered in 8 bites would be a distraction, I know all too well! (Pet rats very seldom bite unless seriously stressed!)
He he he, I used to stick myhands in v hot water just to get a different pain sensation. Do not recomnend.
We trained our rabbit to come when called - rabbits like playing chase me games - so diffuses the situation.
Ha ha, I knew someone would make a joke about rabbit pie...
Pain is generally better all round this week. Wish I could say the same about the fingers. That's my career as a model for nail polish and Fairy Liquid down the swannee.
