Hi all I had a full hysterectomy in February this year & endometriosis has already come back & is also on my bowel & bladder. I’ve taken so many meds & I’m still lying here awake in absolute agony. Any advice/recommendations for pain relief would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Useless pain management🤦🏻♂️
I received a letter from my pain clinic today because I didn’t feel comfortable doing there online program because of anxiety and dont see how an online zoom meeting would even help.🤦🏻♂️ they said unfortunately other than self management there’s nothing their service has to offer and sent me a pain

I have been waiting for 4 years to see someone in the
pain
management
clinic at our local hospital. What a complete joke. When are the doctors and so called specialists going to help a patient who is in considerable pain and saying to him I want to cut my foot off.

Optimise pain management
I have now completed this course. It WON'T stop your pain, but, with the right mindset it could help. I've met up with some lovely people and we're keeping in touch. I've been taught some fantastic coping mechanisms, however remembering to use them is the different part. If you are offered this. I'd

Waiting for an appointment
I know what will happen if I went to the clinic appointment the doctor would ask me why I had come and refer me to a massive list to see someone in
Pain
Management
. I know the waiting lists are huge but 3 years is ridiculous.

Pain management and antidepressants/anxiolitics
Can anyone tell me if there are particular ones you are aware of used successfully for
pain
management
? I am in my 4th year of PMR. A few setbacks. Suffer insomnia terribly. Took zopiclone which gave me 6 hous sleep and really helped stiffness. Not a great drug to stay on for many reasons.

Urgently seeking pain management tips
Hi everyone! I was so glad to see 2023 come to an end, but unfortunately, my transition into the new year has not been much better. I think I’ll make a couple of separate posts, so this does not become convoluted, but my most immediate need is finding some resolution for the increasing pain I am
