So, I've been on Hydroxyurea now for 6 years and had "boring skin" until this year. Anybody over 60 whose been taking hydroxy for a few years have a few skin cancers popping up?

I’ve been on it for 5 years and had a SCC cut off the back of my hand in June. I’m 64. Although the consultant felt the sun damage was done years ago in my teens. I would probably agree, that was before anyone knew about sun protection and SPF’s.

Probably more related to my time in the sun. Trips to the tropics, gardening, being outdoors a lot, and playing lots of soccer. Most of the time I didn't use any sun protection.
