Secondary cancer?

Are patients with Cll more likely to be diagnosed with another cancer. Been on Ibrutinib and venetoclax for 4 months and doing very well. My wbc is down but just had a mammogram and need more testing as something suspicious has shown up. Just curious. Thanks

Hi, Yes, CLL makes you a higher risk for secondary cancers. Have them check you thoroughly.

Yes. More on a chance. I know definitely for skin cancer.

Before I was diagnosed with CLL my doctor had me do a mammogram even though I am male because of the small lump near my breast. Turns out it was my CLL and I didn't know about it at that time. The radiologist said it could be a former form of lymphoma he was right. I ignored him at that time....

Be well ,
