Harrow Cancer Awareness Day

The Mayor of Harrow and Harrow Council will be taking part in Macmillan Cancer Support's World's Biggest Coffee Morning and will be hosting a coffee morning and cancer awareness day on Friday 24th September. The event will be taking place in the Member Lounge at the Civic Centre between 10am and 1pm. Different charities will be coming together to provide information for the residents of Harrow on their work and providing information about different cancers, their syptoms and what to look out for.

The local community have been showing their support with Morrison's donating the coffee and the Grim's Dyke Hotel's pastry chef baking us yummy chocolate chip cookies! Many local business's have also been pledging their support by donating prizes for our raffle.

The money raised on the day will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support and Ovarian Cancer Action which is the Mayor's dedicated charity.
