Hi , round one of chemo done second on Monday , side effects I’ve managed the sickness just about but it’s the fatigue that floored me . But day by day as you say . If I manage to keep my hair which I have been told can you still colour it or am I best to wait , I did not realise how grey I am !!! I’m not vain or worried I just feel OLD

Hi there, I'm glad you are managing your sickness okay. I know what feeling so tired is like, you can barely make it up the stairs. About your hair, if you used the cold cap, my hairdressers recommended not colouring or using a hairdryer for at least six months after chemo. I did use a hairdryer but avoided the colouring. She kept checking my hair until it was ready. In the end I didn't bother to colour it anymore as I liked it the way it was and also saved a fortune.

Hi Cazy - I used the cold cap and coloured my hair a few weeks after finishing chemo which the hairdressers said was fine. Throughout treatment I bought L’Oréal magic retouch (Amazon/boots etc). It is like hairspray - you can use as often as you need - and really works! Take care xx

I would wait. And yes, chemo fatigue sucks!
