She is an iconic caring always positive person whose light is starting to dim quickly.
We speak almost daily and is one of the classiest women, stoic and so positive for everyone one here. I am so blessed to call her friend. I know we all lose touch at times and wonder how so and so is doing etc.
Just wanted to share she will be gaining her wings soon…. And my heart is breaking with each day. I wish there were more I could do for her. Love to you all

Oh gosh … I’m so sorry to hear this. Her posts have been so helpful to so many of us and she will be sorely missed around here. I hope she’s not in too much pain, and that when she does gain her wings, it’s peaceful. I hope you’ll tell her we are praying for her and we appreciate all her contributions so much.

thank you Denise I haven’t been able to respond to everyone yet I am so very sad but also very blessed for our daily talks You see no one else knows what we go through and it really does help just talking about next steps how to handle pain why more isn’t being done regarding this cancer especially for those of us who are not braca 1 or 2 or have mutations HER , FOLATE and all the other doors they can enter. We both have nothing and all kinds of chemo. We are the percentage that you google 3 to 5 year survival I hope in the future women will push for ca 125 test even though they are not accurate so THEY say at least it’s somewhere to start! May love and sunshine surround all of us and longevity of life too!

This must be so hard for you knowing that dear Sachay will soon gain her wings and your daily talks won’t be able to continue. I lost another friend I used to meet up with regularly, in January. ( With OC ) She too didn’t have any BRCA’s etc and just given various chemos, that bought her a little more time ( Still precious, every minute of course ). I wish there could have been something else for her.
I feel alone without her. Like Sashay with you, you keep eachother going.
Of course this forum is wonderful too but it’s not a replacement for someone you see or speak to daily.
I thoroughly agree that a CA125 test would be wise as it could save so, so many. I know it doesn’t work in all cases but it does for many and every life saved is so precious.
