hi have known fixed hiatus hernia which I get a lot of reflux , recently had bloating, stomach pain with increased nausea and vomited, had diarrhoea too , these seem to have settled - but have been getting intermittent brown vaginal discharge which has increased with blood in my urine , any thoughts or overreacting ?

There is no such thing as an over reaction when it comes to your health. Don't sit with the anxiety. Go see your doctor & get answers.

I think once you have a cancer diagnosis you have to assume you are not overreacting when you notice changes in your body. It's taken me a while to assimilate and act on this rather than just hoping things will go away.

Get checked out, even if only for your peace of mind.

Hope it turns out okay.

I agree, not overreacting, just being necessarily cautious! We all need to report anything that could be untoward because our health is at stake.

I am sure your team would much rather you asked about this than kept quiet xx

Dear Cathhunt

Thank you for your post. I just wanted to support what our members have said and encourage you to see your GP. You've mentioned you don't have a diagnosis of ovarian cancer but as you've found this forum I'm assuming you're concerned about your symptoms. The symptoms of ovarian cancer are the symptoms of much more common, more easily treated conditions but it's important to have them checked out so the cause can be identified and hopefully resolved quickly for you.

You're experiencing symptoms which are new and unusual for you so you aren't overreacting in seeking medical advice. I hope you're able to see your GP soon so they can investigate what is happening and hopefully reassure you.

If you want to talk anything through we're here to support you. Please do get in touch with us on 0800 008 7054 Monday-Friday 10am-5pm, direct message through this forum or email us at support@ovacome.org.uk

Best wishes

Anna
