I still cannot reply to any ladies on Healthunlocked

Gemimablackvelvet profile image

I really thought I’d solved the problem of not being able to either answer messages nor send messages myself. I’ve tried numerous times over several days and just cannot solve any of the problems

How frustrating! I usually access this site from my phone. If you access from one device, have you tried accessing from a different device? That worked for me when I had trouble once accessing online medical records on my phone, but I could access from my laptop. Hope you can figure thus out, Angela. Sashay

Is it worth setting up a new profile?

Hi Neona, I seem to have found a way round this to reply to you but not sure you’ll get it. I’ve set up a new profile but it’s still not working 100%. It’s driving me mad. I love Healthunlocked and find the ladies so kind and genuinely concerned about each other. Love from Angela x

I can only access and post or reply when I get an email notification that there have been posts. If I want to post myself I go via a previous notification email. I always presumed that was because that is secure. ?? We can read what you just posted though??

Morning Tillymint, I seem to have almost managed to get back to you all. I press AA on the left at the top of the message and press view when it comes up. It’s a long way round but better than nothing. Love from Angela x

This must be so frustrating for you Angela .Are you using your phone or laptop?

Do you get the daily email as normal and if so what happens then? Can you see posts and is there a reply button?

I guess you've already tried googling the problem. I had a look and one suggestion was looking at settings in the forum. Is there anything specific that happens that you could do a search on?

Morning Liz, I’ve gone back to settings and edit profile. I seem to have managed to get through to you all by fair means or foul. It’s a long way round but better than nothing. I could see the post before but couldn’t press the reply button. Now I have to press the AA button top left of messages and then press view. I seem to be able to access the messages and reply now. I think maybe it’s a problem with settings but I don’t know what. Love from Angela x

Glad you're at least little bit further forward Angela. I must admit one of the first things I do every morning is check the healthunlocked email.

It's been a bit of a lifeline for me since I discovered it. My friends and family are great but its not the same as being in the company of you ladies who really understand.

Have a lovely day and enjoy the sunshine.Liz x

It’s not that sunny at the moment here in Derbyshire but very warm. The best part of the day is usually late afternoon these days. Enjoy your day too Liz

I've been told updates to phones and computers can change things. I usually find things so much better on a laptop.Good luck!

Hi Liz, I'm on my laptop ATM. Things seem to be working on here now. I was asked to change my password which I did but now signing via Facebook. Ahh well getting there slowly but surely

A step forward thankfully. The fact that it's worse on your phone may be a clue for the ovacome help team. Or any tech minded teenagers if you know any!

This is however the first time I’ve ever had a box to the left of the reply button that allows me to insert photos, emojis and USE BOLD, italic and underline.

Thank you Laura, I’m getting through to the messages by pressing AA on the top left of the screen. I then press view and I’m able to see who the messages are from and reply. I still cannot add a photo to my profile so perhaps you can help me with that too. I’ll ring you then if you don’t mind Love
