When Diane was diagnosed in April/May 2005 the CA125 was greater than 20,000 and increased at one point to 140,000. The oncologist said this made no sense but quoted these figure to her colleagues and nobody could better them (if that is the correct wording!). She was told that she could expect 2-5 years and she made 5 years 8 months. She had many sessions of chemo and in August was told that she’d had enough and decided quality of life was now necessary. She lost her battle on Thursday 12th November dying at home in my arms. She was a true warrior up until the end. From her ever loving husband, Paul.
