Update early phase trial

Thank you ladies for your kind replies. They certainly helped when I spoke to the team leader at the Churchill last week. They hope that I may be suitable for the nuc701 trial. It is a phase one trial and I would be the first to trial it in Oxford for Ovarian cancer. Has anyone on here heard anything about it? Thank you in advance for your time 😊😘😊😘 Sian

Hi Sian, Beautiful flowers. No I've never heard of this trial. Is it for high grade ovarian - I am low grade serous. I wish you the best of luck on this trial and hope it all goes well for you. Gwen Xx

Hi Gwen thank you for your reply 😊 The trial is for solid tumours. I have high grade serous. I know that the drug has been used on other tumours but not yet ovarian at Oxford. I'm unsure whether it has been used for Ovarian elsewhere.

What gorgeous flowers! No I haven’t heard of this trial! It’s brand new i guess. I do hope it’s really effective for you. Do you know what it involves yet? There seem to be lots of off label drugs trials now . I read recently that letrozole is more effective with Metformin for instance. Nothing would surprise now as they see how good drugs can be for things other than what they were designed for. About time too!
