Did anyone on Carboplatin & Taxol chemo have the following symptoms (which developed following the 2nd course): some sensory loss on epidermis and loss of internal sensation, including inside of throat (no feeling when swallowing), inside of abdomen (no feeling of taking air into abdomen)?

Dysphagia and paraesthesia.... better discuss with oncologist...NANO paciltaxel will not cause these symptoms..but it's costly... Most of the time,symptoms will resolve after the chemo...

I was on taxatere and Cytoxin although no one ever alerted me to side effects and I did not get any hand outs re: side effects. I have the usual pain neuropathy in both legs and feet. Never in throat or breathing. Please call your oncologist...this sounds a little unusual and you need to get to the bottom of this.
