Hi. Thanks for your thoughts ladies. I am going so give the less substantial undies a trial run, then perhaps take a look round M&S if I can't get on with them. I will have to save something a little less basic for my frequent examinations, though I suspect the professionals don't even notice. It will give me a bit more confidence anyway.

Hi try Bon Marche knickers they have some really attractive 'big ones' and are lovely and comfy

I quite like Sloggie's - they fit nice and snug and no VPL. come in a range of colours and are quite reasonable if you shop around on the internet.

I go with sloggis too after giving up on M&S. old styles and colours can often picked up on eBay. Maxi briefs not bad. Also in multipacks.
