8 Channel Swims completed! 🎉

Hi lovely ones,

Just a quickie to let you know that today saw the culmination of 8 long months for me. Today I swam the final 2km of 283km in order to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK in honour of my Daddy (who swam the last 200m with me). Here’s a photo of me and my Daddy in the pool before I swam. A super day with all my friends and family around and over £10,000 raised!!

Thanks for all your replies...I can’t quite believe the challenge is done! It was such a great weekend and I’m so pleased I managed to mark the occasion in style!! I’m also hoping that this challenge has inspired my darling dad to get back into the swimming pool. He is on long term hormone therapy since his diagnosis of Prostate Cancer in May last year and has just confessed to feeling really down and depressed. I’m currently looking into ways I can help, but I know exercise is always a good mood enhancer.
