I saw her in June for a second opinion she said her plan would be the same as was already in place. She also said I’d had good care so far and the only thing she would’ve done differently is avoid the stoma. She said she’d see me again if I needed help and would operate if it was needed. I really liked her

I asked the dr today if there was any chance that I would be able to get rid of the cancer and have the atoms reversed but he said it was unlikely. The discomfort and itching are driving me into the ground. When I was told it was temporary I was so hsppy

Yes I felt like she had a passion and new her job bak to front.

I was so nervous I fell off the exam chair 😂

She told me soo much that I did not know on how low grade should be treated.

How did you get a second opinion is it best to go private or Can you be referred? I am stage 111c aggressive diagnosed Jan 2016. Had usual treatment carboplatic hysterectomy. Recurrence march 2017 had Caelyx finished October 2017. Ended up in hospital New Year's Day pains and full of ascites 5 pints drained. Had scan more modules appearing in lining of stomach. Got consultant appointment on Thursday. Have a feeling it will be weekly Taxol. Wondering if it is time for second opinion. Never felt tired or ill on all previous treatments but this time tummy feels so tender and I feel tired.

Had surgery in 2014. My girls were under 2 at the time. The surgery wasn't as debilitating as I thought. I managed. Stay positive. You will be fine x

Ok. Will PM you this evening.

Think I was in no more that 5 days. Asked to be discharged as I missed my babies and was so worried about them. There were a nice group of women in my bay but I couldn't deal with the noise and being woken up by staff to take temp etc. Food was good.

Prof * was fab. She really is lovely and tactile. Gave me the reassurance i needed after surgery. That it all went well. X
