Pain in my right side

Hi everyone and happy new year. I have not posted in a while as I have left work and desperately trying to open a new business. I have had a pain in my side for over a week and what we have been through your mind goes into overdrive. I went to doctors yesterday and he concluded it is muscular. Huge relief but the pain doesn’t ease if I take pain killers and I also feel very bloated on that side. My ca125 was 12 just before Christmas so that’s good. Just unsure what the pain is, guess wait to see if it gets better. Best wishes to all

It could be scar tissue or sluggish bowel (my new area of expertise lol)

How are you doing I’ve read your post .... it’s been tough but your a marvel and coping so well... sending hugs .... I’ve just had a review she felt around and said all feels ok so that’s reassuring .... All I can say is my insides feel weird the sluggish bowel idea seems like a good possibility as I have had issues since op but you just get in with it 😂😂lovely to hear from you .... best wishes 🤗🤗

Sure it's something or nothing, but if you are at all worried, go back Love.

Sluggish bowel LA? That might be my problem on some days, others? Quite the opposite😳

I’m liking the sluggish bowel idea it explains a lot .... I’m going to go with that and if there’s no improvement will go pester GP ❤️

I am amazed at how some of the women on this forum get on with stuff - a new business! I don’t feel I can say anything medically useful about the pain but I am hoping you can soon feel it is absolutely nothing sinister and you can get on with your new venture.

Do you still have a gall bladder? When you have pain turn onto the left side see if it stops. I had pain on right side and near my back on right. Was gall bladder. Just a thought. Liz

There a thought.... yes I do still have a gall bladder at least I think I have ... not sure what they took out ... thank you for the advice 😊

I hate all the aches and pains we get and what it does to our minds! Like the other ladies have said, if the pain carries on or gets worse, speak to your GP or CNS and ask for advice.

I understand totally I have a pain on my left side which is worse if I walk any distance. I’ve put a call into my Nurse to just get her opinion. I’m hoping it’s just scar tissue x

I am with Lily-Anne on this one. our bodies have had quite the shock after surgery and it does take a long time to heal internally, in the process scar tissue can make recovery a bit more painful. Good luck in resolving your pains.
