Doxil and Avastin

Hi everyone my mother in law is starting Caylex and Avastin and i just needed some input on what to expect from treatment. Her main worries are will she lose her hair, get blisters, extreme nausea, diarrhea, exhaustion? This is her third line treatment stage IV. thank you so much for any feedback

Hi, I am not sure about they Caylex one but I can tell you the Avastin is pretty good, well to me anyway, there are little side effects known and I didn't have any, once my chemo finished and I just carried on with Avastin it was all much quicker and I felt fine with all that, much better of course than during the Chemo part. Good luck with your Mum's treatment, I am afraid I can't answer about Caylex so not sure about the side effects of that drug. I had carbo/taxol so definitely lost hair and will do again when I start both combo next week I didn't get blisters or mouth ulcers but I had what I call cornflake nose and bloody most mornings that got worse the more treatment I was having, I can't see why 6 is the limit on your body!
