This past Sunday, mum and I attended the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition on a 5k Walk/Run! This was the first time we attended an event like this and it was wonderful. Lots of free gifts for survivors and a ton of information! Also met some long-term survivors, I am talking 30 year plus! Was a really great turn out, with roughly 3000 people there!
I also met a 6 year old girl, who at age 4 was diagnosed with ovarian cancer; was a total humbling experience.
Attached is a photo of the survivors. Excuse the terrible photo, I was standing on my tip-toes with my arm fully extended just trying to get a darn photo!
Best wishes,
Kris

Hi kris, Looks like the weather was good and glad you and your mum had a nice day.
How heart breaking that a 4 year old had to go through that dreadful time, it shows that ovarian cancer like so many others does not discriminate about age we need to find a cure!!!
