Help with constipation

Good morning ladies I need help. Have been fighting this evil decease for over eight years have been taking Niraparib for 2 1/2 months with a few side effects but manageable. Sunday my Stoma slowed and Monday it stopped working and I was v sick it's now working sot of but very painful have taken docusate and movicol. Any ideas please Love to you all x

Do you think it's medication? I sometimes have that with my stoma and then it settles down again I take Movicol for about two days to get back to normal.

I think you are right I am taking 6 docusate abd three moviocol and seems to be working at last .

Hi Granis

I don't have a stoma but have had bouts of constipation on and off between bouts of diarrhoea for past 2 years! I find Movicol difficult to take, so I take dioctly and lactolose and they work for me. I find fruit and in particular pears effective and I up my roughage intake in general.

I'm just starting Niraparib and I wondered if you came to the conclusion it was the drug gumming up the works or not?
