Hi all, I wanted to post to inform everyone on here that unfortunately my mum "Steghart" passed away two months ago. Sitting on my bed and missing her I decided to Google her name and see what I could find and came across this! I knew she had been in contact with other ladies so wanted to let you know how grateful I am she had you all to speak to throughout her illness. My mum had ovarian cancer for five years and this clearly did allot to console her and help her cope. Thank you so much for your friendship and kindness and best of luck to you all.

I am so sorry to read this but thank you so much for taking the time to let us know. I remember a while ago she was so very relieved to realise you (or it may have been another daughter, I'm not sure) did not after all have breast cancer. She was so very happy about this.

You will always miss her but you will remember the good times too.

So sorry, Sere, to read about your dear Mum. I feel for you and send my sympathy. I lost my Mum eight years ago and still miss her. I hope you have some happy memories to look back on. To begin with they sometimes make you sadder but after a bit longer they provide a lot of comfort.

I'm so sorry to hear your sad news, I'm pleased this forum gave her some comfort and her contribution will have been a great help to others here too. Really sorry to read about your sad loss, Sere. As so many others have said I'm glad if the forum gave your Mum some comfort and encouragement through the hard times. I'm so sorry to hear of your sad loss. When I read your post I recalled that your mother had taken the time to reach out to me in one of my moments of stress . I found it and read it again today . I had posted on the 13dec last year having just completed chemo with many worried questions. She was so reassuring with her wise advice. May her caring soul rest in peace.
