Any update on Clare???

I was just wondering if there was any update on Clare and how she is? I know her husband posted last but I was wondering if anyone had heard anything since?

I posted another reply on the thread a couple of days ago hoping for a reply or acknowledgement but nothing yet. I suppose he is too busy looking after Clare.

Hi Callmemum, we all share one thing in common we are all fighting oc if by having it, or watching one of our loved ones with it.

We have become one massive big community bigger in heart than size. We feel so connected that it only takes one or two of us not to post for a while to make the others miss us.

I miss Clare & a few others but I don't asked where they might be in case I don't like the reply. Take care Cindyxx

I think about these two ladies a lot, I messaged both Claire and Debs recently, Debs replied and is having her treatment and doing ok.

I got a very odd reply back from Claire which didn't make any sense but at least it was a reply. I do worry about her and reall miss her knowledge, vibrancy and humour here.

We should keep them both in our thoughts and prayers along with everybody else with this awful indiscriminate disease and their families and friends.

I have also been wondering how things were with our old friends. Not been too good myself the past 4 days, spent 8 hours in emergency department after vomiting the whole of the night before, and can not now eat or drink without pain in the middle of my chest, seem to have damaged my esophagus. Dear Jeanette- So sorry about your recent issues. Sometimes the chemo does horrible things to our healthy parts. Wishing you speedy healing and to beat the cancer back for good. Your cure may be just around the corner!

It IS very hard to come on here to read the daily posts - it's my bedtime routine - and not see posts from those I am most worried about. I, too, am keeping an eye out for any word from Clare or Richard. Bless him.

But please know, all of you lovely ladies and carers, you are in my prayers each and every day even if it's only a lifting my eyes to the sky and sending a thought out to us all battling this insidious disease. Stay strong. Stay beautiful. You are all valuable and important and loved. Hugs!

Good morning, ladies - and gents! I need a few prayers and good vibes. First CA125 test coming up today in 8 months. My oncologist only tests every now and again if I have no symptoms of recurrence. And I still don't but I have a 3 month checkup next Tuesday and will have the heat today. Unfortunately I will not know the results til then. So happy thoughts, please, that it stays close to the 10 it was in December. Hugs!

Oh poor Clare, I "met" her on the Macmillan site when I was scared and first diagnosed last July it was Clare who told me to come over to this site.............dear lovely Clare. xx
