Getting on with life.

Worst year of my life 2013. .......

Well it's now June 2017 and I will be 56 in 3 days, thought at 1 point I wouldn't be here, so having just done the zip wire at Bethesda North Wales, I think I am pretty lucky.

Scan in mid July followed by Oncologist in August, friends getting married (3day event) August first, after wedding invites by the score ( so thrilled) then going to Uganda to teach midwifery skills to lay Village women in November. My life is fuller than ever, sooooo lucky and have my wonderful husband 3 boys and 5 grandchildren.

Just wanted to say persevere all you ladies it can make your life better!! Yes I did say better!! Love to all x

Brilliantly uplifting post. 2013 was the year I was diagnosed too. Yes, life has changed but I too have done things I wouldn't have done had I. Of HD this diagnosis. Brilliant that your going to Uganda to pass on your midwifery skills. Loving your hat! Ann xx

Lovely post Ann and very uplifting for many ladies currently having treatment and medical appointments.

Love the hat and hope you enjoy the wedding 😊.

What a lovely thing to do to share your valuable skills in Uganda so others can benefit, well done to you & enjoy your trip. Doesn't this dreadful disease refocus us?

Keep as well as possible and carry on enjoying your life ❤️Xx Jane
