It has been a long 7 months. I was diagnosed with primary peritoneal cancer stage 3c two days after giving birth to my baby girl. DRs found tumors when conducting my c section. They did a biopsy and diagnosed me. I did 3 cycles(9 sessions) of chemo. Break for debulking surgery. Then 3 more cycles of chemo. After the surgery the DR concluded I had Fallopian tube/Ovarian cancer. I just had my CT scan this week and DR appt. CT scan showed that I'm NED! There is a very very small spot on my liver that my DR thinks is from the surgery and not the diagnosis. I will have CT scan, pelvic exam and blood work in 3 months. My CA 125 is at 9!!! 7 months ago it was at 3,800!! God is so faithful and I'm happy to share this! There is hope that you will get through this rough time. Keep faith and keep on fighting!!!! Xoxo

Hi Ange! Congratulations on both your NED and your little one. I cannot imagine experiencing the roller coaster you went thru at a time when all you should be concerned about is cuddling a newborn.
My story is similar to yours in that my PPC 3b was found during a ventral hernia operation. After surgery, it was also found I had Fallopian tube cancer. I am 13 months NED at present. I am so happy for you and the deep breath you can now take and the burden of worry has lessened a LOT! Hugs to you and your little one.

Your story was so upsetting initially, that I have often thought about you. I could not imagine looking after a newborn and coping with cancer, an op and chemo at the same time!!!

How is baby doing? That's a lot to take on board just after giving birth, especially with all of those raging hormones. Really pleased they found it and worked quickly, may you have a lifetime of NED
