Hystectomy today for serous borderline

So after diagnosis in November 16 of serous borderline tumour with microinvasion and micrapapillary pattern I'm having full hysterectomy and other ovary out today.

Vertical scar, CT scan normal.

I'm so scared they will find implants as at present I'm stage 1a.

Anyone else out there been upstaged?

Hello Sarah

Good luck for your operation today and wishing you great news when you come round from the anaesthetic. I think we all worry about what will be found, it's quite natural.

All the best! Helen

Hope all goes well today and you remain 1a. Will be thinking of you 💐 Jenny

Good luck with the operation, it is a preventative measure which is great. The stage wouldn't change now regardless of anything that may happen in the future. It all seems very positive to me.

Best wishes
