Hello to all you fabulous ladies on this site. My name is David and Gillian is my by far better half for the past 38 years. I am devastated to have to let you know that Gill died when on her way to bed at about 11p.m. On Saturday night. I am in a daze now, 4a.m. Sunday morning. I needed to thank you all for the many messages of support and helpful information that Gill received over time. She would be adamant that one day a decent cure will be discovered to put paid to this wicked evil desease. Keep as well as you are able to and pray for this miracle to occur. At least now Gill is free from the dreadful pain that blighted the last few weeks of her life. I'm going to miss her and her strength and hope that now some of that strength will rub off on me. Love. Oh, David, I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of Gill. One more angel fighting for us from above. Thank you for letting us know she is free of her pain and worries. I wish you all the best in navigating life without her. You were strong for her and if you need to pull some strength from us, just holler. Huge hugs.

Dear David, I wanted to post the news of my wife Gauri having tested NED , six months post her last chemo. But news of Gillian having been taken away to a better world has definitely robbed the sheen off Gauri's NED. Indeed none of us ever want to hear of such news and pray to Almighty to give you the strength to bear this irreplacable loss. Incidentally , we too will be completing 38 years of our married life coming Thursday. God Bless and Keep the Faith.

Dear David, firstly thank you for letting us know about Gill's death, I've just read all of her posts again and what a powerful and inspirational lady - even if she didn't feel it or recognise it herself.
I am thankful that she is not in pain any longer but feel heartfelt sadness for you that your beloved wife and friend is gone.
I pray for her and you, this is such a hard, dark place for you to be and I pray that you feel all the warm and caring wishes coming your way. I hope that your happy memories of your life together will bring you some comfort.
