Hi Ladies

Just finished my 6th chemo and wondered if anyone had tried the tablets from Boots "Perfectil" for skin, nails and hair. My nails are just splitting daily and thought these may help with regrowth.. perhaps!! Michelle x

Hi, yes I am using the Boots Hair, Skin, and nails. No other name, they are in a grey containers. My finger and toe nails are very damaged due to 18 weeks of Taxol. I have found them very good, turns your bowel motions black, and urine green at times as there is iron in them.

I also put a coat of hardner on, then polish, then hardner, and change it weekly, this is helping them to grow the damage out.

Rummel's nail rescue is excellent , and Vaseline nail and hand in pink tube . Worked for me .

That Vaseline hand cream is really good. I've been using that since you recommended it a while ago.

Will try the Rimmel nail rescue now. xx

Rimmel ! Haha xx

Yes I agree with the pink vaseline and the Boots own brand Skin Hair and Nails. I also use Sally Jensen nail hardener. Nails failed dismally while on Avastin so tried all kinds of hand cream out but Vaseline is the best. It will take a while though to get results,
