Swelling back of knees

Just noticed swelling at the back of my knees. The only way I can explain this is, If I'm sitting down, the back of my knees feel fine as soon as I stand up the round swelling at the back of both knees appear. Do you think this is a gland problem?

I dont think so if it happens early in the day, I suggest you see your gp or ring the Ovacome Nurse. Sometimes my legs swell from knees down in the evening and my gp told me it wasnt anything to worry about. You are still on Avastin maybe say to your team next time you are in.

Hi Suzuki,

Thank you for your response. I'm not on Avastin had my 5 cycle on Wednesday should have had carbo/taxol but because I had pins and needles and slight numbness they cancelled the carbo and just gave me taxol. Have spoken to my McMillan nurse,chemo unit and local day hospice and they seamed to think I'm worrying over nothing. But the big C is in my thoughts all the time. X

Swelling behind the knees happened to me once and I believe arthritis was the cause. It went away on it's own. Hope you are better soon.
