Sorry Molly, Never heard an ovary referred to as bulky. Am sure if they were unduly concerned they would have seen you sooner. Chase an appointment up to get it sorted.

Good luck.

If you are anxious you need to explain this to your GP. It's really unfair to leave you in a state of uncertainty but yes, the CA125 is a really good sign.

I have heard of a baulky uterus. Not an ovary.

According to the lady that performed my ultrasound scan both of my ovaries are 'enlarged' and contain multiple cysts. I'm currently awaiting the results of my blood test to help determine what this may be.

If your CA125 came back as normal then I wouldn't worry but I would chase up the appointment and demand a sooner date if possible. If you're very concerned and stressed, perhaps speak to PALS for some advice? It's so unfair being left in the dark for weeks on end.

I have been told the ca125 isn't accurate. Best way to know is by biopsy. Isn't this true

Hi Molly,

Just been to see my oncologist today and have been told my cancer marker is really low,CA125?,haven't heard of the bulky term before maybe you could ask for a scan to determine what they mean and if there is any concern, ask for a biopsy.

Be determined, I know it is difficult, I am a survivor of ovarian cancer and you have to be strong as there is probably nothing in this, but you need to be sure, for you.

Just hope all this worry is for nothing
