We would like you to help to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer by joining our celebrity supporters and tweeting a picture of you and your mother/daughter with the hashtag #TellYourDaughter.

The campaign asks supporters to pledge to tell their loved one about the symptoms of the disease and to donate by sending a text to 70070 with the message OCAM00 £2 before tweeting their pic.

You could tweet the following:

This is my selfie for @Ovacome’s #TellYourDaughter campaign, I nominate @RuthOvacome Don’t forget to donate TEXT OCAM00 £2 to 70070.

The campaign starts on March 1 so get ready to start tweeting!

“Having the BRCA gene has made it even more important for me to tell my daughter Faith about ovarian cancer when she is old enough. But regardless of whether women have this genetic link to the disease or not, they need to tell their daughters about the warning signs so they know what to look out for before it is too late,” says Michelle.

Louise Bayne is delighted to have celebrity support. “By having celebrities on board, Ovacome’s ‘Tell Your Daughter’ campaign will be given the stage it deserves, encouraging mothers and fathers to tell or re-tell their daughters about the symptoms of the disease, at the appropriate time,” she says.

Campaign supporter Lorraine Kelly agrees and was keen to tell her daughter Rosie about the disease: “As mums we have a responsibility to make sure our daughters have all the information they need about the warning signs of ovarian cancer so they can protect themselves,” she says.
