So things have changed and there is nothing more that they can offer me. On Friday night I ended up in hospital with total bowel obstruction. On Tuesday they carried out surgery hoping to untangle the bowel. Unsuccessful as disease is too progressed. Am very calm. Asking you all to pray for me

Thank you for posting. I had missed you and wondered how you were getting on. The bowel obstruction must've been so painful and frightening, and now the news that no more treatment is available. I hope one day to face my destiny with something like your calm and resolve and I shall light a candle for you.
Let's hope 'no more treatment' can still mean your condition can be managed and that you get good care from the hospice and other supporters.

Hello, sorry to read about that the surgery was not successful. Life is rough. I've been fortunate, so far anyway, that the bowel tumours were found early and so hoping that the current treatment will work.
My thoughts and prayers are going to you, and will think of you when I light a candle later.

So sorry you had to post this news, like the others I do hope you are comfortable. We will all come to this and it's hard, but so it has been hard fighting this cruel desease and I have decided after this I will no longer have chemotherapy it's a tough routine for in my case short remissions, my family understand, I hope that you are being well cared for and not in too much pain thinking of you at this hard time but miracles can happen. Dearest Shabila, I have been away and only just seen this post. I can't say how sorry I am to read your latest update. Like others, I will pray and send gentle wishes from comfort and lots of love. Are there plans for you to have some hospice care? I hope that you're not in pain and are being well looked after, maybe given some gentle massage or some treats, like your favourite music. You have always been one of the most up-beat and kind friends on this site, always generous and positive with your comments. You're being very brave.
