Hi Annie,

Thank you for the link... but I posted this link up two days ago on TinaB's ca125 post,

( i posted four links on there) but in my opinion this was the best one out of the four.

(You must have missed it) ... My guess is that daisies then posted it on the Ovacare site so it is has bounced back. LOL xx

Hi Elaine, I've been thinking of you and wondering whether Avastin will be on the agenda for you now it seems to be available in Scotland - though the means by which people will get it seems unclear. I hope the visits to hospital are working out.

The pic was taken last autumn for the Western Mail which is a South Wales paper. I wasn't aware the Express had got hold of it. It's a photo of me outside the house where I live as a visitor in Cardiff rather than the house where I don't live as a resident of London.

I'm on the train now to London to find out the scan results following my treatment and therefore my fate for the next so many months. The main thing is to make the most of life and enjoy every day because in my case they're limited.

I called the Gynae secretary yesterday and she called me back with an update, Dr Gynae is still waiting on a reply from the diaphragm specialist and will be in touch as soon as he gets a reply, its the good old waiting game again, god a bit upset on Friday about it all but gave myself a good talking to, no point in crying about it as that's not going to help.

I mentioned avastin to Dr oncology last time and she said i was borderline because of the timing of the recurrence if it is a recurrence, i am beginning to believe dr gynae now as he said last week again "i'm not convinced its back as your ca125 levels are normal, 7 last reading, but after reading the ca125 article you posted it did say you can have a recurrence without raised ca125*!*!* But dr oncology says we can't rely on the ca125 we look at 3 things, your well-being, scan and ca125 and i have 2 symptoms. Confused or what

Hello everyone. A good day's work today. Nice positive appointment with the oncologist who says the Carbo-Gem and Avastin has done the trick and shrunk the tumours on my lymph nodes. No other stuff anywhere else such as liver or lungs yet. Whoo hoo.

Was just skipping out of hospital when the Daily Mail rang so I gave a phone interview from the hospital steps on the unfair allocation of cancer drugs in Wales. Should be in tomorrow's paper. All this press activity is expanding my readership of the tabloids. C'mon the Indie and The Guardian. Get your acts together. Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month is important. x
