We are delighted to let you know our next "coffee and chat" will be in Dublin in the Hilton Hotel, Kilmainham on Sat 19th Jan 2019; 11am-1pm

This is a free event for patients to meet up for chats and support in an informal setting. As always, you are welcome to bring a guest if you so wish.

Getting to Hilton Kilmainham by public transport:

The 13 or 40 Dublin Bus stops at Emmet Road which is about a 2/3 minute walk from the hotel.

15min walk from Heuston Station.

Alternatively the Luas (Red line) stops at Suir Road which is a 7/8 minute walk from the hotel.

I want to apologise for not going to the event today. I had chemo on Wednesday and I’m not feeling able for the journey to Dublin today. I’m sorry to miss it. I hope everyone has a good day.

Thanks Sharon and the team at Ovacare for organising the coffee and chat morning on Saturday. It was really lovely to meet you all and to be able to share my story in addition to having you all share yours with me. I must admit, I drove to Dublin from Galway feeling a little lonely and alienated - you know the kind of isolation that only a cancer diagnosis can give? But I drove home feeling I had made new friends and feeling 'not-so-alone' anymore... Thank you everyone.
