Hi there , could anyone recommend a decent travel insurance company to use , this is the first time I’ve ever had to tick the box for OC and some of the quotes I’m getting are ridiculous .

Thanks ladies

Hi Cathy, I've used Boots the last few times, premiums have been very reasonable, less than £100 for Europe for a family. I did my quote over the phone to clarify some of the answers, they still honoured the online discount. Have a great holiday! Jo xx

Hi Cath,I also got very high quotes which turned out to be more expensive than holidays so,I relied on my e111 card.

I can definitely recommend HolidaySafe. All done online and very reasonable. InsureWith wouldn't insure me and many others quoted huge premiums. Good luck..and have a great holiday! xx

I have used AllClear twice - I have disabilities as well as the OC but was very pleased with the price for a 2 week Baltic cruise - price depends on stage/ whether you are NED at the moment but worth a try.

Just saw this post now.

As a policyholder with VHI they gave me a years worldwide multi trip cover for 50euro

MIA were lovely when I contacted them. They couldn't insure me but gave me contact details for Insurance With and they sorted me out.
