Me and Ipads!!

Just trying out iPad my daughter got yesterday. Problem is that this silver surfer has to work it out herself. Questions are answered with huge sighs. Funny they forget who taught them to use a spoon!! I had scan over 2 weeks ago see my onc in August. Had ultra sound few weeks before that which was okay so hoping no nasties on scan. Daughter in laws baby due in few weeks is now breech. They will move baby back in two weeks if no change. She has no bag ready think she was thinking it would be all done by mother in law!,Anyhow she will stay with us 2 weeks before birth as she is having it in Cork not Waterford. So boiling water and towels to hand.Hope everyone is as good as can be. I wish all those having treatment well. I hope Hogwarth and Hairless Beauty are ok as I miss their posts. Apologies if I don't remember other names. Best wishes J

Hi Suzuki. Hope your scan will be good news. How exciting for you, a new little grandchild. Hope all goes well and the baby manages to turn itself. Please let us know when its been born. I was thinking about both ladies myself. Hope they're OK. Ann xx

I think D aka Hogwarts commented on something so I assume she is ok. Sending kind thoughts to Hairless Beauty and anyone I missed

Hi Suzuki, good news about your ultrasound, I am sure it will be the same about your scan . Congrats on soon to be a grandma, something lovely to look forward to. I don't write a lot on here as I never know what to put ,but I do read the posts. I am seeing my oncologist next Monday, last time I saw him my ca125 had gone up from 19 to 78 . So am praying that the tamoxifen tablets I've been taking are working. Good luck with your scan will be thinking about you. Julie xxx

Thanks Joan we just got back after three weeks in the US and Canada. Ageing is a process that we need to grin and bear. Only difference in fixing humans and laptops is that you can buy a new laptop. Cheers and Keep the Faith. All will be well.

Hi Suzuki , technology and me don't get on to well either. You definitely will have your hands full when your Daughter in law moves in and your Grandson will keep you entertained. It will keep your mind off your CT scan results but I would say if anything sinister showed up the Oncologist would have been in touch. I got an appointment in the post for my next CT scan for September 13 th Oncologist definitely keeping an eye on me . Kittie.
