Morning all!

Op over and done with, all went according to plan or so the Doc said in any case! I am going home this morning and feeling good at the minute anyway! Very little pain more in my shoulder from the laparoscopic gas than anything else!! Glad that part of the journey is done now recovery and then the dreaded Chemo!!! Onwards and Upwards!!! D

It's good to hear the op went well and you're feeling buoyant and pretty well. Yes that gas is a beast! The only way to get rid of it is to walk walk walk and it'll come out like air out of a balloon.

I hope you're home soon and tucked up in your own bed with your own things round you. Please don't worry overmuch about chemo. It's soooo scary before you start it but in fact it's usually very boring. With a bit of luck and your optimistic nature you'll sail through.

xx Annie

Hi Dee, welcome home, glad that all is good, now take time to recover and no heavy lifting please. It is awful weather here cold and wet and windy, glad that is done so now its a matter of recovery and then chemo. Wishing you well
